I drove 11hours from Kansas City for this and it was 100% worth it for the best car buying experience of my life and to finally meet my best gaming buddy of 3 years. I had 2021 Acura TLX Tech package before this purchase. There was nothing wrong with the car except that it lacked ventilated seat. I tested ventilated seat from colleague's A-spec and it made huge difference in this summer heat. Looked for A-spec locally but there was no new car and waitlist went to minimum of January next year, so I gave up. I was complaining about this to my gaming buddy, Jay Buck, who's Finance Director at Sterling Acura in Austin Texas. Then he told me he has Type S with Tiger Eye and Orchid combination coming in the next day at his dealership. I thought this couldn't have been any more perfect opportunity to finally meet him in person and get the best combination of car I wanted. So I put a deposit down. Initially I wanted Blue exterior with Orchid interior but Jay convinced me this color is the way to go and I went for it. And boy was he right, this Tiger Eye looks stunning in person, videos and pictures don't do justice. Seeing this car in person made all my travel and financial stress disappear, it was worth it. This was by far the most pleasant and smoothest car buying experience I've had from past 3 new car purchases within 6 years, with previous one being a local Acura dealership whom tried to take advantage of me.

I went in to potentially buy a car I was very interested in. I was helped out by Nick and Lester, both were helpful and walked me through everything. We came to the point where I was ready to purchase the vehicle but it was Saturday and they had to wait until Monday to hear back from the banks to see if the loan was approved. To hold the vehicle, I had to pay a deposit of $500 and I was assured this was refundable. I thought it through and, after the bank loans were denied since it was an older vehicle, decided it wasn’t the right time and on Tuesday I spoke with Nick and told him I wouldn’t be moving forward. He told me I would receive my deposit back within a couple of days. On Friday I checked back in since I hadn’t heard or seen any update on the reimbursement where they told me I would receive the deposit back Monday at the latest. This went on for another week and it still wasn’t being resolved. Nick at some point asked me for my credit card information with no context via text after saying the refund was being processed. He then sent me a form to fill out with no direction which was an authorization to charge CC. At this point I felt I was being swindled and by filling out the form it may give them an excuse to charge again. I called my bank and after telling them everything they disputed the deposit. A day later I called again and spoke with another manager, Ray, who took the time to explain everything to me, how to fill out the form, why it was necessary, etc. If it wasn’t for Ray the dispute would have been the only way to get my money back. I highly recommend not to deal with this dealership, but if you must to work only with Ray. Only leaving two stars because of Ray’s help, otherwise one star.
Every interaction and experience at this dealership/service center was fantastic. I bought my car here, sold my car here, serviced my car here. And even used the airport shuttle service. The driver wouldn't even accept a tip. He was super friendly and I hope he wasn't insulted. They treat you like family here and makes me wish I was staying an Acura driver.
I had a great experience at this place. Derrick Evans was amazing to speak with, very friendly, and very personable. Everyone at this location was very responsive and looked to make my experience as pleasant at possible. During the test drive I had an issue with one of the tires having low tire pressure. They filled it up with air before handing me the keys to my new vehicle. A day later the air pressure had gone back down again and after I searched the tire (I should have did it before originally taking over the keys), I found it had punctures. Though tires are not under warranty, this dealership recognized that it was an already existing issue and did right by me with a new tire. Honest people that anyone would appreciate.
10/10 experience working with Jordon Davis! I spoke with pretty much every Major Acura dealer in Texas and Sterling Acura was by far the best. If you are in the market for a new car please look no further. Make sure to ask for Jordon & he will make sure you are taken care of! James Buck in finance was also a pleasure to work with! To preface I would RARELY give a car dealership a 5-star rating. In a previous advertising role, I worked closely with many Auto dealers so I’m familiar with many of the ins and outs that the average consumer may not be. Unfortunately the (read: cringey) used car salesmen persona is still alive and well in 2022 but thanks to Sterling Acura, I had the best car selling experience (arguably ever). After a few subpar interactions with other KBB partner dealers, I was thankful that Sterling Acura reached out with an inquiry to buy my car. I worked directly with Ashley Lopez throughout the process and she was incredibly professional and patient with me as I evaluated all options - Working with Ashley was truly a breath of fresh air. I made an appointment with Ashley to get my car appraised in-person and SA presented a competitive offer right off the bat - No BS or low-balling. The manager (blanking on his name) was also great. Ashley was not pushy to get me to purchase a new car from them either. I ultimately decided to sell my car to Sterling Acura because of the great experience I had with them. Customer service matters, even in this unprecedented market.
What a pleasant experience. Sterling Acura lives up to the premium car buying experience. After two visits I drove off in an new Integra. In todays car buying world, Sterling was a surprising breeze to work with. Very little negotiating was needed, both Traye and Ben were wonderful to work with. They may not have the volume as the larger dealers, but what that lack in choice they more than make up for in buying experience. If your in the market for a used car or an Acura new or used.
