After taking our 2017 BMW X6 for a battery change an incident happened where the bumper was damaged. Service advisor Ms. Ana Rebolloso along with supervisor in charge took care of everything. Ms Rebolloso was very helpful in the process of getting our vehicle repaired. She got us a rental car for the days (4days in total) that they will be repairing the damaged bumper. Not only they took care of the part damaged but the entire bumper as well. It looks like new!!! Very satisfied with customer service and end product. Thank you guys!!! This is my second time purchasing from bertogden Bmw Mcallen. But this second experience was horrible purchased a 2019 x5 on June 6 2021 was told vehicle would be ready Friday from windshield change and other changes. Then got a text on Friday June 11 at 2pm the vehicle was ready then another message at 4pm vehicle was not ready it would be ready next day the day came still not ready. Also I purchased the vehicle without test driving so they let me know on June 17 I can go test drive so I went. Well we stayed in the street without gas and my husband and seller had to push a little to get to the gas station.Then on June 15 I contacted the seller to see if vehicle was ready he said they were putting the windshield and it would be ready for pick up that day.They never called so Monday I called and he said he would let me know again I had to message to ask if it was ready he said windshield had not arrived .Then called me Tuesday truck was ready I asked if it would be washed because it was very dirty had melted chocolate and food in the backseats armrest cupholder he said yes and it had possum prints in engine cover. Well I arrive my toddler gets on opens armrest and says this is disgusting I look and it was not cleaned armrest cupholder still dirty . Dash board was dirty front ac vents dirty with spider webs.He also told me vehicle would be buffed cause it had scratches well scratches are still there.Another seller had the cup holders cleaned right away but truck was very dirty went the next day they told me to take it today in the morning to get full detail.Well picked up today and it has all the buff marks they told me its because the vehicle is black I have a bmw at home also color black and never has those marks after getting waxed it also has left over wax on fenders and door handles and headlights also dash board is still dirty then I ended up with extra scratches on the vehicle .Also in the morning when I was going to head to Bertogden vehicle would not turn on screen showed defective key then tried again and got another message then finally turned on took me 20 minutes.I went straight to service to get that checked a worker told me what year is the vehicle let him know 2019 they checked and he said well you haven’t changed the battery I didn’t know I had to change the battery of a vehicle I had for two days.Then he changed the battery and said it was the battery we will not charge this time I was not thinking of paying if I had two days with the vehicle.The seller has not even contacted us to at least apologize for all this trouble we have gone through. The only good experience at Bmw was with Irene.But I am not happy I understand vehicle is not 2021 but my previous vehicle was also used and none of this happend. So now I have to find a detail shop and stay with all the new scratches Horrible.
I went to potentially trade my vehicle today. We worked with Diego. From the start Diego asked us for our budget. Diego laughed at our answer not having any other knowledge of our finances. He then asked what vehicle we were looking for and we told him we liked several models and wanted to see them all to narrow them down. He kept suggesting a certain model because it would “best fit my lifestyle” after only having talked to my husband and I for 2 minutes. Diego assumed the model he thought we should purchase because I had my baby with me. Our budget was flexible, although had he asked he would have known this information. When we asked for the price of one of the vehicles he laughed in our face. When we test drove the vehicle he had very little knowledge of what the vehicle was equip with. He gave us false information which we confirmed by looking up the vehicle online. Diego was obnoxious and not a professional I would expect at a luxury car dealership. We were also insulted by the extremely low offer the dealership gave us for our one year old trade (half of what the vehicle was purchased for). Needless to say, this experience all around was a real downer far before they even assessed our trade.
