In 2012, we came to Santa Barbara, finally giving the area an Acura dealership. That year, it was a major development in Santa Barbara's new car dealers. Our dealership was built with the hope of bringing more northern Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County customers to town. The Acura line of luxury cars and SUVs fits in well with the other Santa Barbara Auto Group offerings. When we first opened, the Santa Barbara market really liked wagons, so when we first came to town the Acura's TSX Sportwagon sold very quickly. Today, models like the Acura ILX, Acura RDX, and Acura MDX still inspire area drivers. Our current inventory includes certified pre-owned vehicles, in addition to the new and pre-owned models. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE! I was so nervous about going to a dealership for the first time because I didn’t know what to expect. I was on the hunt for a pre-owned car and my saving grace was Cynthia Morales. She went above and beyond to make sure I found the right car for my very specific wants/needs. She answered all my questions and never made me feel dumb for not knowing something. Another big shout out has to go to Sam Tokhi for also being amazing and helping me. And we can’t forget about Mr.“G” for fixing up the car and making sure it was fit for sale! Santa Barbara Auto Group was very transparent about the cost and made sure that I understood all the paperwork before signing. After I officially got the car signed over to me, they even took the time to help me learn how to work all the new technology that I’ve never been exposed to. I could go on and on but basically these people rock and their cars are very nice 😊!

If you need an Acura this is the place to buy . Tony and Sam are very professional . They made the transaction very pleasant and smooth. No games . Great service. Beautiful facilities. Incredible experience. Our sales consultant Cynthia answered all our questions and kept us up to date on the status of our purchase. She navigated pandemic delays with a great sense of humor! I originally tried to buy a new RDX A-Spec back in 2019 from here, but unfortunately did not feel welcomed and left to buy elsewhere. I have called 2 times and both times left a message within the last 6 months to try to schedule maintenance service appointment and guess what? I have not gotten a call back. I have left a pretty clear voice message of what I would like done to my wife's Acura. The only positive experience was with Howard in the Parts Dept. I will bite the bullet and take my wife's Acura to a farther dealership for maintenance service now due to the negative experience here. I will also buy my wife's next Acura some where else.

The parts department was so helpful and pleasant to work with. The key locks on my 2016 MDX were causing problems and the parts team and service fixed the problem while we were there as we had driven from out of town. Big relief!
